Saying something is a choice is not enough, you have to get down to WHY someone is making that choice in the first place, and that is heavily influenced by fear and uncertainty, both of which wouldn't be there if you were exposed to that early in your development. They wouldn't be there if your parents raised you not to pussy out of scary situations.
