It's one thing to kill an NPC. It's another to do it and receive praise in comments saying, "Yeah! This is what every feminist deserves!" I don't see how that's the youtuber's fault if the comments go to hell. You can find awful comments on 95% of youtube videos. I'm sure the Youtuber must have had other content or warnings that warranted the ban.
