K181 11/07/18 2:57:04 PM #8:	They had an election where Ted fucking Cruz was a drag on the GOP and rose Democratic numbers significantly, with the end result of being a few seats flipped while the GOP held on to the Senate and easily retained the governor's mansion and the statehouse. This was a good election for the Democrats in Texas, but I'd be hard-pressed to equate that as a sign of anything to come. Cruz isn't going to be on the ballot again until 2024, and Trump easily outpolls that creeper so even a presidential turnout in 2020 won't have the same GOP detriment. --- Irregardless, for all intensive purposes, I could care less. <cite>K181 posted [p:911993216] in Texas appe...
