Oz Griebel, a conservative offshoot candidate, siphoned off enough votes to secure Ned Lamont's win. Granted, it MORE OFTEN helps the Republicans, because they're usually smart enough to fall in line while Democrats might split their votes thinking the Green Party is worth a damn, but hey, sometimes third party helps the Dems too. --- Touch fuzzy.
