44. Kaycee Clark (Big Brother 20, 1st Place)

I hated Level 6. This isnt a big secret. Yet due to a combination of their boring, competent gameplay, and FOUTTEs emotional, incompetent gameplay, Level 6 dominated the season and eliminated everyone I actually cared about. So in a way, my feelings towards Kaycee are a lot like my feelings towards Josh in BB19: in another season, Id probably be annoyed by herbut in conjunction with the awful alliance she was part of, she was the best of a bad bunch.

Really though, my relative enjoyment of Kaycee is the result of my utter disdain for Tyler. Kaycee was, by all accounts, the anti-Tyler. Tyler was front-and-center as the star of the season from week 1; Kaycee was forgettable and in the background until the week she won the hacker competition. Tyler insisted on making himself the focal point of all strategy; Kaycee went with the flow, won vetoes and HoHs at the right time, and just stayed friendly with everyone while not getting their hopes up. Tyler was worshipped as a god by the fanbase; Kaycee was called furniture until Derrick called her the player to beat, then all the Tyler fans got pissy and started outright hating her for potentially (and then ACTUALLY) robbing their fan favorite.

Ultimately, I just enjoyed Kaycee by default, as she gave me someone to root for once FOUTTE was decimated, and it became clear that Sam stood zero chance of making the endgame. She wasnt the best character by any means (there was definitely some of the arrogance evident in the rest of Level 6), but she was tolerable.
