60. Eric & Daniel (Amazing Race 30, 6th place)
One of the more bland teams of the season, I can't say Eric & Daniel were COMPLETE duds. There were a few running gags that got a chuckle from me most episodes - the fact that nobody could remember which was which, and them totally failing at almost every challenge yet still surviving deep into the race. Other than that though they were easily they were just kinda this there M/M team that didnt get a lot of focus and I had pegged as roughly 6th place from very early in the season. Sorry this ones so short theres just not much to say about them.

41. Eric & Daniel (The Amazing Race 30, 6th Place)

If you asked me to rank these two after episode 3 or 4, I would easily rank them dead last for the season. Early-season Eric & Daniel were the RARE instance of annoying me in TAR30, not because they were especially offensive, but because there were some really fun and colorful early boots, and Eric/Daniel were bottom feeders who constantly outlasted teams I really wanted to stick around. Its like how Ally & Ashley in TAR23 are one of my least favorite FF teams of all time. Yes, it can be fun when a team sucks so bad that theyre constantly at the back of the packbut that team has to be amusing in their ineptitude. Eric & Daniel (like Ally & Ashley) were just generically weak, constantly stumbling through the tasks and surviving because someone else fucked up the leg even harder than they did. These two beating April & Sarah in the Head-to-Head competition was the worst possible outcome for the leg, for example.

BUT, once we hit the middle of the season and the milder teams started getting picked off, I stopped hating Eric & Daniels continued survival so much. They morphed into pleasant guys (a lot like Tim & Danny, also from TAR23 now that I think about it) who goofed around and told corny dad jokes. It seems like they were much-beloved among the rest of the cast, and it actually became somewhat amusing to watch these two doofuses bumble their way through the race while competing against such high-level athletes and challengers. And then they went out in sixth place, allowing a set of five EXTREMELY interesting teams to make the end gameso really, they didnt hurt the season and I cant fault them too much.
