I'll never understand the whole sexist/racist accusation thing for comic book fans. I mean, they freaking LOVE female super-heroes. Characters like Supergirl, Raven, Kitty Pride, and so-forth fill the entire medium from head to toe. They have for ages and haven't gotten flack until now. Now that comic fans criticize someone like Gwen pool suddenly the fact that they've loved female characters for all those years is moot because one female character is bad. It's the exact same thing for PoC characters. I remember watching Static Shock and the Green Lantern (I keep thinking Hal Jordan even though I know it's not him. I'm sleepy.) as a kid and loved the show; but people act as if there was no such thing as a major black super hero before the MCU introed him. It's like anything that was before 2010 didn't happen. So screw modern comics. I'd much rather go and watch Teen Titans with its diverse cast that wasn't just political talking points/check-list and was actually cool/fun instead of sitting down to read about how lesbians and gays are good and if you're a straight white man you're literally the devil incarnate or something like that.

Same with gay characters. I like midnighter and Apollo. Prefer Harley Quinn dating ivy over joker if she must have a love interest but I feel the cw dc shows are going a tad overboard with lesbians. Think the flash is the only show to not have one and to me the jury is still out on Nora I'm suspecting she is but I'll wait and see.

Also give zero shits about ice man whoever the fuck the Ray is. So I guess I hate the LGBT right?
