| Topic | When did you give up on the Pokemon anime if you've watched it |
| Eevee-Trainer 11/17/18 2:31:33 AM #4: | Diamond and Pearl. (Or Black/White, depending on how you look at it.) Granted, this wasn't by choice. I wasn't an avid follower of the anime back around then or before, though I loved the movies and such. But around the time I was 12 or 13, we moved somewhere and we didn't have cable TV, so I wasn't able to watch the Pokemon anime. Sometime senior year, I realized that I could download anime, so I eventually downloaded most of the anime through the end of Black & White's second season, and rewatched it. I quickly realized that the anime was pretty trashy, though Black & White was a nice aberration and satisfied a lot of my main gripes with the series. In college I did try following X&Y for a bit but I quickly lost interest because I saw it was going back down into the shitter. I did watch the league episodes though because those were pretty cool (especially Ash's last two battles).
