Short answers because lots of questions:

Sunhawk posted...
1. How is Germany different to other European nations?
I'd say our education system is very different.

2. I know that Germany has a very strong economy, but is it still a struggle for citizens to get by?
Not at all, most people make it their job to not have a job; you can easily get by by not having a job since the government pays really well (and gives a nice bonus for every kid you get).

3. How is the alt-right doing in modern Germany?
Unfortunately, quite well; politicians are calling everyone Nazis if they're slightly right-wing, producing lots of pent-up aggression.

4. What do you personally think of the Nazi regime and Hitler?
It was obviously an atrocious thing. Since repeating all the horrible things is a bit redundant at this point, I'll just point out that there were actually positive aspects of the party when they started (so not all "Nazis" were just jew-haters, etc).

5. Were you (or your family) born into East or West Germany?
Born in West Germany, parents from both sides.

6. Do you generally like German culture?
We don't have much culture that isn't Bavaria.

7. What are German millennials like? Do they know how to have a good time, and relax?
I can't stand them; since I'm not really one myself and could never get into their culture, I can't say much about it, but they annoy me.

8. Do you think that Germany really did have a sonderweg (special path) through history, or is that just wishful thinking?
Germany does have a unique history, regardless of whether you'd call it good or bad.

9. Do all Germans speak English as well as you do?
lol no

10. Are the German people crippled by guilt by their Nazi past, or have they generally learned to accept it?
We're taught to be crippled by guilt and basically that our main cultural thing is having been Nazis (slightly exaggerated to bring my point across).

11. How is stuff like freedom of speech and expression in Germany?
If you say anything slightly right-wing, you'll probably disappear or see your career disappear in front of you; apart from that, pretty chill.

12. How well do Germans know their history? Is it heavily taught in school, or do they just know it vaguely?
We're taught all about it, over several years, I got incredibly sick of hearing about it.

13. Do Germans prefer native TV, film and music entertainment, or do they consume more foreign stuff?
I loathe German music (apart from some German rappers like Haftbefehl /s). Most people prefer foreign stuff or try to imitate foreign stuff.

14. What are popular German musical acts?
When someone says music, I mostly think about classical music, so my opinion on that probably won't interest you.

15. Is there a shift in modern Germany away from home ownership, and waiting later to get married, like in other Western nations, or not?
Hm, I'm not very familiar with that particular area since I'm leaving Germany, so can't say, sorry.

16. How do you feel about Angela Merkel?
I personally don't like her since she never goes back on objectively wrong decisions (inb4 u r a nazi). Not saying that all her policies are bad, but she should work on being more open-minded before the alt-righters grow even stronger.

17. Do you feel people in Germany have a good quality of life?
Yes

18. Are German girls better or worse behaved than America, British, etc. girls when it comes to sex?
There's not enough space left to go into detail here.

19. What are the best and worst Germany cities to live in?
I feel like there are pros and cons for all cities, don't think any are particularly good or bad, but it depends on what you're looking for.
