Because at that time Tidus is really sad and Yuna says that when she is really sad she has to force laugh in order for people not to see her like that. Since she is the daughter of the previous Hero and all that. This is why they both laugh so bad! It is on purpose. Notice that later when they laugh they laugh normally. But nope this scene sucks. I have seen people saying that they gave money to the actors for that! Of course they gave! But damn. --- So why we exist?
