Of course they will. Servers cost money to run, and if few people are using them, then they get shut down since its no longer worth the cost of running them. Plenty of servers for older games have been shut down. Heck, Nintendo themselves recently said they are ending eshop support for the Wii in January 2019.

Steam and GoG will never shut down. The only one that has any chance at this point would be Uplay.

Steam and GOG are different, and not really what we were talking about. Steam and GOG are basically stores. We were talking about servers for individual games and multiplayer servers and stuff like that. There are plenty of those that have shut down. Xbox Live for example no longer works with the original Xbox. In a few years, I bet Xbox Live servers for the 360 will be shut down too.
