Topic	Why the hell are people buying less cars now?

Besides (and I know this wasn't the point, but still) most of the people I've talked to about "smart cars" have the same opinion I do: I wouldn't drive one of those unless they were the only car on the road. If there's an accident, you can kiss your ass goodbye. You'd be crushed in your environmentally sound car by a regular car, and that's not even considering the fact that you can't fit anybody else in there with you. It's possible that people feel that same way about "regular" cars. Personally, I just like to be able to see the road in front of me and not have my view blocked too much by a larger vehicle.
