The first thing I was taught in my conceal carry class was that as soon as the threat is down or disarmed, you either holster your weapon or if police are on the scene, you immediately put it down because the cops can mistake you for the bad guy.

Just saying, but maybe this isn't so much a "the guy was black" thing and it was a "the guy was carrying a weapon in a threatening manner in a mass shooter situation."

Of course, the cop who was all gun ho and apparently shot him without issuing any commands whatsoever needs to be prosecuted still.

From what I've heard, there were multiple people with guns out. And have we gotten confirmation no orders were issued before shooting? Because that'd be pretty damning for the cop.
