China's horrible smog conditions, which admittedly have improved only recently, are the result of heavy handed communist industrial practices. He ignores the faults of capitalism but the current state of climate isn't the fault of capitalism. What he was trying to say there is that saying Capitalism caused climate change doesn't make sense, and he's right--not that it had no impact on it. It not only had an impact, but it's also having a positive impact due to industrial opportunities in green energy only because of the free market demands.
