Topic	Why is Samus still so popular despite a lost decade with 2 massive flops?
INTERWEBUSER 12/02/18 3:42:23 PM #1:	Metroid Prime 3 was released to critical acclaim in 2007. Since then, only 2 new Metroid games have been released: Other M (2010) and Federation Force (2016). Both were critical and commercial flops. Metroid Prime 4 is, at least to the public, nothing more than a logo at this point. On the other hand...for being the black sheep of the series, MGS5 has a 93% Metacritic and millions of copies sold. Yet Snake has declined in popularity from previous contests.
