Why does anyone even care? I think most people would agree that gamestop is a cancerous tumor on the gaming industry. They can't go out of business soon enough. Support your local mom'n'pop game shop, where you're more than just a dollar sign.

All you really need to know about GameStop can be summed up by a quick Google search about their "circle of life" program internally.

I was given a lot of shit by most of the gamestop dick riders here when I stated how they straight up lie to their customers. Why would it stop at new/used games?

Like who? Gaming, at least the video kind, isn't the kind of thing small businesses get into. I know there's nothing near here except one retro store. Wally is 40 minutes away. TrU is gone. Targ and BB are jokes. That doesn't leave much other than GS.

Nobody will argue they're the only ones to carry non mainstream items. If you're a regular then you won't get the 'sales pitch', a simple nah if they ask about preorders and you're good. The employees here know their stuff. Who is lying if I get my games at a price I'm happy with? Really, the truth is if you go in there being stupid then they might take advantage of that. Otherwise their stock puts them above anything else around here.
