I absolutely love driving and taking long road trips, but having to rely on it to get to and from work is pretty ridiculous especially if you're just starting out on the job ladder. The United States really needs to step up their game when it comes to public infrastructure and transportation generally speaking. It was mind boggling how much money I saved the first time I moved into a city with decent public transportation, realizing how much money I was throwing in my tank on 45 minute one way commutes & maintenance was a game changer. I maintain a vehicle now, but purely for recreation. I couldn't imagine going back. --- ... Copied to Clipboard! |
