Battlefront 2 fixed a lot of issues with the first game and had a significantly better campaign than Battlefield 5's offering. Of course, this was all thrown out the window with "pride and accomplishment" but it remains to be said. It was not a terrible game; that would just make things a little too fitting after all.

Battlefield 5 is a Battlefield 1 mod with almost half of the weapons being straight from Battlefield 1 and not being nearly as interesting. Throw in some hubris and questionable gameplay decisions along with a tentative road map and it's a hard sell even for me at $30.

I'm just glad Battlefield 4 and 1 still have very active communities, because since DICE fucked up their WW2 offering most people just want them to go back to modern warfare again.
