"No taste" means that the person is incapable of discerning good quality from bad, and thus their views are effectively random. "Bad taste" means that a person considers bad quality good and good quality bad. It is a subtle, but important difference that everyone should learn.

As an example, someone with no taste in movies might say "The Star Wars films are fantastic! I love all of them, they're masterpieces!" where someone with bad taste in movies would say "The Star Wars prequels are amazing and far better than the originals."

Understand this and be at peace.

Kill 100 men: You are a hero. Kill 10,000 men, you are a conqueror!
