This. Dorian was the best character in Inquisition, but the scene where he yells at his father was so awful.

We were supposed to feel bad because of the obvious gay conversion therapy allegory, but I came away with the view that the father was legitimately worried about how badly his son was going to be ostracized because of his sexuality. Dorian's father apologizes and wants to make amends, while Dorian just rants at him.


I think that makes the scene rather human no? Sometimes good intentions aren't enough and wounds don't instantly heal.

It has been a while since I've seen that scene though. Over 4 years ago god damn.
