Topic	So why was it that Japanese games used to be harder in the NA release?

The US is a culture where trial-and-error is accepted and people feel rewarded for overcoming a challenge. The Japanese as a shame culture don't take to failure nearly as well and as such the games were adjusted for those differences. Didn't know the Japanese were such a fragile people.
