"Having a narrative" doesn't imply anything about your motives.


It is political talk for framing a bias.

In particular I offered no story but cited a lack of one. I wasn't creating a narrative but saying we could not draw from what was presented a narrative.

That is, the story in the op creates a narrative. It also is intended to draw you to conclusion about Musk.

If I was making a counter narrative I would try to make him look good and cite people he helped etc. I didn't.

I mean, if my narrative is to say maybe we don't have all the facts umm ok? Not a correct assertion but it is benign and close to my intent.
