They told a story. You just said "Hey I don't have details x,y,z and so I'm going to assume they were left out because they changed the narrative". But you explicitly created alternative narratives along the way. "Maybe alarms were going off", "Maybe the person who grabbed him told him exactly what Elon wanted but he still decided to be annoying", etc. Your lack of consistency in picking a narrative just says that you are trying to see what can stick, rather than being some statement about the endless possibilities that exist. darkphoenix181 posted... That is, the story in the op creates a narrative. It also is intended to draw you to conclusion about Musk. It paints a picture of Musk that tracks with the other details given in the story. There's support of the story in the form of other details. Also, your "we don't have all of the facts" is just a sliding scale. The idea that you're just a few details about the working of the machine away from believing this story is ridiculous. Do you think this is out of character for Musk?
