CEOs have to be crazy to get to where they are. Not that that makes it right. In fact, it's suffocating and just plain old wrong most of the time.

It's pretty obvious Musk is being highly unreasonable. There shouldn't be anybody defending him, and there's no way a single mistake is worth firing at any point in anybody's life, unless that mistake cost the company millions of dollars singlehandedly.

Asking a reasonable question is obviously not that big of a deal. To say otherwise is what can only come from a place of fanboyism or delusion. People discuss, and that's how good things are born. Probably Tesla could reach even higher levels if the workplace isn't incredibly toxic and volatile.

Also, the guy went through a billion divorces and is featured on the media and open to endless scrutiny. I'm pretty sure it would make anybody go nuts. Humans aren't designed to deal with this kind of stuff, and Musk is just an example of a guy who's breaking down but barely hanging on to keep a company going. (That is to say, if that's his attitude, it's not a big mystery why nobody can stay married to him. The whole world is his enabler so what kind of lesson would he be expected to learn)
