Um yea. Doesn't most rap just consist of rapping about drug dealing, greed, lust, and killing people?
I mean not all of it does, like I don't think Drake raps about that stuff but he's the exception to the rule

That's the popular music industry, not rap.

Drake, The Weekend, Asap Rocky, Kanye West. The biggest rap artists in the game arent gangsta rappers by any sense


True. Gangster rap, rap about drugs and violence, hasn't really been a thing since the early 2000's. Obviously they still exist but popular rap is about a lot of different subjects these days.
