Kefka/Vercetti is this weird contest history footnote that felt pretty big at the time but I cant say that it was really influential after the fact. I ended up leaving it off. Well, it's notable because that match was the death of insta-updates forever because of BARRIERS and George Romero, so I'd have probably included it myself. Plus, it's one of the greatest round 1 matches of all time. _SecretSquirrel posted... The Gauntlet was Ganon vs. Auron, Snake vs. Zelda (we knew back then!), Sora vs. Alucard, Kirby vs. Tidus, and Bowser vs. Ryu. Yeah, that was the Gauntlet.
