The stats speak for themselves and are much worse than any other available data for any other country.

No no, thats not how this works. You made the claim, the onus is on you to back it up.

Obviously there is not some sort of world wide sex abuse by parents league table with America currently top by loads of points.

That isnt obvious. Please show me stats from other countries that show they arent comparable to America. You stated this, now back it up. Im not taking your word for it nor am I just going to base an opinion on the statistics of America alone.

If you wish to downplay the seriousness of this problem in the USA where it is clearly a huge problem that is up to you.

Im not downplaying anything. Im asking you to back up your statement. Lets not try this lame tactic now.

Backed it up, I've offered the stats that backs up my claim.

If you don't think those stats prove that America has a problem with parents sexual assaulting their children I'm not sure what to say to you to be honest.

https://www.thoughtco.com/facts-about-child-sexual-abuse-statistics-3533871

Despite what children are taught about "stranger danger," most child victims are abused by someone they know and trust. When the abuser is not a family member, the victim is more often a boy than a girl. The results of a three-state study of reported rape survivors under age 12 revealed the following about offenders:

96% were known to their victims
50% were acquaintances or friends
20% were fathers
16% were relatives
4% were strangers

So 1 in 5 rapes in America of children under 12 is carried out by the father, that is an obscene level of that type of abuse.

Girls are the victims of incest and/or intrafamily sexual abuse much more frequently than boys. Between 33-50% of perpetrators who sexually abuse girls are family members, while only 10-20% of those who sexually abuse boys are intrafamily perpetrators. Intrafamily abuse continues over a longer period of time than sexual abuse outside the family, and some forms -- such as parent-child abuse -- have more serious and lasting consequences.

50% of abuse done to girls is incest.

As an aside America also has the worst record in the world for parents killing their children.

Let's not forget we're in a thread here about an American dad raping his daughter, so to claim this doesn't happen in the USA is quite frankly bizarre.
