Their thought process was were releasing a limited content game meant to be played almost exclusively in 2 player online mode with no storyline, character profiles, arcade mode or endings, just so we can cash on it in an upcoming game tournament, because fuck you, street fighter customers, that is what you get
This is not true
It was known from the jump that they were releasing the game early "in beta mode" because they wanted to get the game out early before the end of the Capcom Pro Tour & EVO. It was also known from the jump that they were planning to release the story mode ~2 months later at no additional cost
If you don't like that, fine, but stop misrepresenting the situation.
