You don't think there's a difference between a corporation trademarking a cultural expression that they appropriated and someone getting prissy at a white person dressing as pocahontas for Halloween?

Cause I think there's a difference but you presented the story as if there isn't.

Both are non-issues presented by the media as some of the more defining social ills of our time. I don't even like Disney but this personally affects no one. You really think the average person who speaks Swahili is bothered by this? There are far more pressing issues in Africa like hunger and corruption.

So...why didn't they have a problem with the phrase from 1994-2017?

Maybe they did and you just didn't hear about it because it 1994 peak internet was Prodigy for $5.99 an hour and aol chatrooms.

You're talking strictly 1994. What about a few years ago? Stop defending outrage culture my dude.

Because it wasn't relevant outside of the release window of the movie

Which proves my point. They aren't actually offended. They just bandwagon when it's convenient to gratify their ego for being morally superior.

That last sentence is moronic word salad by someone who has no idea what hes talking about.

Please elaborate then. Why don't I know what I'm talking about? Because personally I think I nailed the SJW mindset. It is about them feeling like they are a good person in a world of shitty people.
