Topic | Wired does a Musk expose. It's not pretty. |
Tyranthraxus 12/21/18 11:16:12 AM #97: | Anteaterking posted... It paints a picture of Musk that tracks with the other details given in the story. There's support of the story in the form of other details. Also, your "we don't have all of the facts" is just a sliding scale. The idea that you're just a few details about the working of the machine away from believing this story is ridiculous. I don't think he's claiming that the story is false, just that there's a narrative being spun to present only the worst parts of Musk's behavior and make Musk look worse than he really is. If I wrote a documentary about Steve Jobs and only covered things like how he stole Xerox's technology and tried to unfairly patent look and feel and fought tooth and nail against the right to repair and his terrible company PR in response to the problems with iphone models regarding camera and signal and such, and also that he believed in using homeopathy to treat cancer that's be a pretty inaccurate representation of Steve Jobs. He did all those things, but the story is fabrication by what's called "lying by omission" --- It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha." https://imgur.com/dQgC4kv ...
