That would be an interesting comparison to have, but no, I don't think it's conveniently written anywhere.
As far as I can remember (though I'm probably missing some): - a 3-seed has reached Round 6 (Melee, 2015) - a 4-seed has won in Round 4 (Ganondorf, Bowser, and Zelda, 2018) - a 5-seed has reached Round 5 (Crono, 2002) - a 6-seed has won a contest (Undertale, 2015) - a 7-seed has reached Round 6 (Sephiroth, 2002) - an 8-seed has reached Round 4 (Pokmon RBY, 2015) - a 9-seed has reached Round 6 (Super Mario RPG, 2015) - a 10-seed has reached Round 4 (Zelda and Tifa, 2010) - an 11-seed has reached Round 3 (Aerith, multiple times + Fox, 2018) - a 12-seed has reached Round 3 (Sonic 2, 2015) - a 13-seed has reached Round 3 (Sub-Zero and MissingNo., 2010 + Chrono Cross, 2015 + Tails and Wario, 2018) - a 14-seed has reached Round 3 (Jecht, 2010 + Donkey Kong Country 2, 2015) - a 15-seed has reached Round 4 (Aerith, 2018)
Draven won the contest as a 3-seed. Zelda 2018 reaching the finals as a 4-seed is the best. I don't recall a 5,7, or 9 seed ever making the finals, so those SF runs from Crono/Seph/SMRPG look correct. Undertale winning the title as a 6-seed is correct.
Too lazy to check on 10 or below. ---
