You are aware there is a lot to the process of adoption right? During this phase everything will be checked out out to see if the person who is wanting to adopt is fit to do so. In theory a 26 year old wanting to adopt someone so "old" is unusual but at the end of the day providing they can provide a good home for the kid/teen that's all that matters.
