This happens all the time when you order at Chinese places.

One time I ordered dim sum, I ordered pork hocks with jellyfish and the next thing, I get bonus items on the jellyfish and pork hocks; it was duck tongues; yuck!!

Another time I ordered dim sum, I ordered fried shrimp balls and it came with one piece missing but instead, I noticed an extra dish of shu mai.

On another occasion, I ordered sashimi combo, I checked my sashimi before leaving and it was exact. The following day, I went to order the same sashimi combo but decided not to check before leaving, I came home 1 hour later to find three pieces missing.

On another occasion, I ordered sashimi combo and it came with the salad side-order missing.

This sort of thing has become a daily occurence every time I order food from some Chinese places.

TC, you should just give them a call telling them in advance ginger beef is missing and that you will go and pick it up the next day; if she disagrees, you are out of luck.
