And that is already far fetched. Why are aliens visiting Earth far fetched? Maybe they were just exploring and decided not to make their presence known to us. Especially if they were that much more advanced than us, it makes sense why they wouldn't want to make their presence known. Heck, in the Star Trek lore, the Vulcans knew about human life on Earth, but they purposefully avoided contact with Earth until humans achieved space traveling capabilities. Also, Kirk inadvertently broke the Federation's directive of avoiding contact with primitive cultures in Star Trek: Into Darkness. It makes sense that a very advanced and more peaceful alien civilization would want to avoid contact with a very primitive and very warlike Earth culture. I don't see that as far fetched at all. ...
