Topic	I watched Mortal Kombat (95) last night

I don't think it followed a specific game's story but it works well as its own standalone story and nails the mood of the games better than any other video game movie besides MK. Then it's like all the other video game movies besides MK. Except really well made and with respect for the games. Plus, I feel it's better to go for a side-story in the same universe rather than trying to translate a specific story to film.
