| Jiek_Fafn 12/26/18 3:25:51 PM #39: | I did 60+ hours for like 10 years of my life. I had weekends off though where I would sleep all day and have a social life at night. My gf worked similar hours for a good 5 years. Both of us work much better jobs now and work more traditional hours. It's definitely do-able. Most people that say you can't do it have never actually tried. I traded my youth for security and I'm happy with that choice. Now I can afford to either not work for years or retire early. It's a huge weight off your shoulders to go from struggling to pay rent to having money. Not bring able to pay bills made me feel way worse than working all of the time. My advice is to develop a strict routine. When things are tough you use your routine to prop yourself up and get through the day. If you have good friends they'll understand and not give you shit.
