Looking at people fixating on flaws that other people would hardly notice I can totally believe these people sincerely believe they are unattractive. It's hard not to develop issues about your appearance when everything you see on television represents 'Hollywood homely' people who are actually quite attractive, but whom a particular piece of media treats as average or plain. 'If Kiera Knightly in Pride and Prejudice is supposed to be unremarkable and plain, what does that make me?' Edit: Literally why. I swear I am too good for this place.
