Topic | someone just ordered $500 of SSD's on my amazon account... but using their card? |
DiScOrD tHe LuNaTiC 12/28/18 5:30:49 PM #19: | That happened to me once on Best Buy's website. Someone had ordered a $2000 laptop under my account (to be delivered to an address that according to Google Earth didn't actually exist), but they used their own credit card to pay for it, so...I don't really know what the motivation was. I did have my debit card skimmed once and got a phone call from my bank warning me about a possibly fraudulent charge. Got on the website, looked it up, and there was a $300 charge to a Walmart that I'd never been to in my life, plus a charge at a gas station in Kansas. I called the Walmart manager and told them about it, and the bank reversed the charges and cancelled the card. After that I downloaded the app and started locking my new card when I'm not using it. --- "Ring me mother!" -- Max 'Leather Jacket Guy' Byrne ... Copied to Clipboard! |
