There shouldn't be a quota for the number of minorities at a march, I think we can all agree on that. But depending on what the demographics of the area are, it could have been a really bad look to go throughout with it. Intersectional feminism is important an having a 95 percent white protest in an 80 percent non white neighborhood doesn't portray the type of solidarity you're looking for in a march. Political marches are literally 100 percent about solidarity and optics.

They need to do a much better job of outreach to the regular people in the community, clearly. That's the main issue here, and they really should have realized that before even announcing a march. Political activists should know who will probably show up to a march.
