Yeah I hope we are wrong but from trailers and everything else I've heard they haven't been seen yet. They apparently said that the series doesn't really need Final Fantasy characters anymore and stands on own, which while true doesnt mean they shouldn't be there. I picked up the series in the first place in 2002 because of the Final Fantasy aspect and I loved the series but it would be a shame for them to totally drop that aspect. --- Every time you read this, squirrels randomly burst into flames.
