Topic	what's a good hotel to stay at while in Los Angeles. or should i try AirBnB?

The whole building was used for AirBnB it seemed like. I'm black and have used the site a lot for trips. I've never had any issues, however I've only gotten the whole apartment, never a guest bedroom or something where I have to interact with the host. Cool. What's check in like? Is the owner there to meet you? I've never met the owners anywhere I've stayed.
