I told the girl I wasn't sure how they could stay competitive with the wage they were offering when the other place that does the same thing pays two dollars more per hour, and they still hired me. I have no idea why people have issues getting hired. I can't remember the last time I've used references, and at one place I worked, the guy tossed my resume and said it wasn't even needed.
