Topic	All Purpose Horror Topic 2018: so Suspiria was fucking weird (again)

I thought it was just so freaking tense the whole time and there were a lot of really good directorial choices. MILD SPOILERS Like how they treat the girlfriend like a monster for the beginning of the movie. You don't see her for such a long time... the kids look at her with such disdain like she's awful. That whole first act is done so well. Honestly, I'd talk more about it, because it is such an interesting movie to talk about I think, but I don't want anyone to get spoiled on it. But there's so much small stuff in this movie that's just so expertly done, and they do a great job with this story and you just get such a tense feeling you get with Hereditary the whole time concerning the drama of it all. It honestly felt a lot like It Comes At Night in a lot of ways. I don't know how they did it, but they pulled it off in a movie primarily about two kids and their father's girlfriend in a cabin.
