I don't really want that to happen, I liked the Brad Stevens teams more than the Kyrie teams in recent years, if that makes sense. it feels like kyrie going down last year doomed us. raised expectations and caused people's egos to explode and also messed around with the pecking order. we alternate even now between good basketball and the hot-potato passing/heroball isos, and with kyrie, we get really upset when we miss three straight shots, then stop playing hard on both ends i'm honestly a bit relieved to be down 3-1, because one way or another, even if we run it back, the expectations next year will be very different. maybe we'll be portland east or something. that doesn't satisfy my urge to hang banners, but until we get our next KG, i won't have to feel the crippling disappointment of the last 6 months again! --- yet all sailors of all sorts are more or less capricious and unreliable - they live in the varying outer weather, and they inhale its fickleness ...
