Sex ed in kindergarten? Are parents no longer a thing? This is out of control.
PERSONAL FUCKING RESPONSIBILITY
Sex ed is important as proper sex ed helps reduce stds and teenage pregnancies.
Parents (espically religious ones) have shown they can't handle this job.
No problem with sex ed. I wouldn't teach it to 5 year olds.
Stupid people are going to be stupid. \_()_/

I have kids as young as 5 asking me about what a blowjob is, and what being a "tranny" means. (I know this word is offensive, thus the point of my post)
Education is not about what you personally think is appropriate. It is about what we know the kids are wanting answers to.
No I am not saying we need to teach 5 year olds about blowjobs. I'm saying that curious kids are going to get information on whatever they are curious about however they can. Would you rather a teacher address transgender issues, or have kids telling each other what it is, or going online to find who the hell knows what about the subject?
So parents are just off the hook now? Shit pop em out and just let em go with as much responsibility is being expected from parents these days.
As a teacher I would fucking LOVE it if they were responsible for stuff. My experiences have shown me they are not in lots of ways.
Being a teacher in a lot of ways is parenting too now. It is shocking. ---
