They are both excellent games and top picks of their generation. Zelda 2 was one of the first difficult games I tried to beat (among the other ones were Contra, Castlevania 3, NES Rambo etc). Keep in mind I was like 6 years old or something when I was doing this so maybe like a little younger than intended. But there is just a ton of dumb things in Zelda 2 that I think are somewhat unreasonable.
