DevinMorgan damages the code against him by attacking him with the power of Dark Magic and using it to burn his clothes off in one strike. He then reveals he was never meant to wield Dark Magic, and is using it to escape the fight. Meanwhile, in a flashback, DevinMorgan reveals he had been the subject of a spell used by the Black Queen, and uses a spell of her own against the Demon Lord. With Dark Magic exhausted, DevinMorgan tries to leave, but the Demon Lord takes him back to the palace, only for him to be saved by Yasha , who is unable to stop him from leaving again, because DevinMorgan used his Dark Magic and Yasha's power to destroy him.

He has also been shown to have a talent in the field of the Dark Arts, with Yasha himself stating that it is a talent of great promise for him and his Dark Magic . However, DevinMorgan does seem to lack true power, as revealed when he is unable to wield Dark Magic effectively in combat, which could be the reason why he is capable of wielding Dark Magic himself and does so in one strike.

After having been attacked by Demon-Demon, he is seen fighting against the Demon Lord alone again. He was able to save Yasha and his guards. During his confrontation with Demons, DevinMorgan is shown using his Dark Magic in an attempt to destroy the Demon Lord
