Sexuality is one of the most complex experiences that people have.

I'm a homosexual man living in an area where we have a high level of homophobic homophobia. That, to me, is the essence of being LGBT and it's one of the reasons my partner and I have not been able to get a permit for any kind of gay and lesbian services.

It means my partner has to deal with a whole lot of confusion, it's not being recognised as normal.

How important is it to you that as a gay man and lesbian person, you can enjoy your life?

I love what I do and I love being free. I love being able to express myself, but also I want to have support, and I want to be able to go to the bar and not be intimidated by homophobia, for me.

When and why did you decide that you wanted to go public with your life?

I just said 'I need to tell my life'. I thought this might help my family members, I thought it may help my boyfriend, it might help my partner.

It's important to me that anyone who doesn't know me, who doesn't know that I love them, can't judge me - I think it's important that we all go live our lives our way and make sure that we're living our lives on our terms. Because that
