Ed's disappointment in Ulti's behavior seems so genuine. And if Ed was scum who knew that Ulti was Town Who Was Being Set Up For a Mislynch, I don't think Ed's disappointment would be so genuine. Like I just don't see Ed as the type who is so heartless as to exploit a personal trait like that while watching a town go down in flames.
