I'm asking how do you measure what a healthy relationship is.

I don't think it's the prudish Christian 1950's exclusively-missionary relationship. If humans are biologically wired to be primarily monogamous but seek out other relationships then that is what we are. You can't deny our nature. Strict monogamy in nature is very rare. You think chimps and dogs have purely monogamous relationships? What makes it an ideal for humans?

Why do you always show up with ridiculous extreme cases? Why must anything other than complete sexual debauchery be seen as regressive? I believe that a man and a woman should have complete intimate freedom to explore their sexual side with each other, in the beauty of exclusivity that wedlock provides (or should provide). "1950's exclusively-missionary relationship" is obviously unhealthy and restrictive, acting like that's what we are advocating, is just disingenuous.

It's pretty clear that humans are not like other animals. Our social structures and emotions are so much more complex than those of any other animal that the comparison to chimps and dogs is simply ludicrous and has no place in this discussion. We discuss humanity as it is. Not in relation to species that don't have notions of culture and identity.

A healthy relationship is based on trust, respect, sacrifice and the kind of exclusivity that makes someone feel special. Poliamory is such a lie.
